Sian Bex, from Queens College Cambridge, gave our students from Years 10-13 a fantastic insight into life at Oxbridge. We heard about the benefits of the collegiate system and how it functions in terms of teaching as well as pastorally.
It was amazing to hear that there are over 100 libraries at the university, so there is the possibility to study at Cambridge without ever having to buy a book! It was a whistle stop tour which included information about entry requirements and all the clubs and societies.
This was our first talk in our new Spotlight Series, which will be held on Wednesday assemblies, and aim to shine a bite size light on a particular career or pathway.
