The Old Thorntonians are the Association for former students, alumnae, of Thornton College.
How to get involved
We have active engagement online via an online platform called Old Thorntonians Connect. It is free to join and a wonderful way to keep connected with school life and find ways to engage and of course receive event invitations!
Following us on social media is a really good way to say involved as well via Facebook and our Thornton College Alumnae Group on LinkedIn.
Funding Opportunities
If you are interested in sponsoring or making a donation to Thornton College or perhaps considering leaving a Legacy please contact JWalker@thorntoncollege.com for further information. There are lots of ways to support Thornton College and we are always keen to stay in touch and work with former students.
The Association relies on donations from Old Thorntonians to pay for the organisation of events. A Life Subscription offers the most cost effective membership at just £100. Annual Subscriptions are available from £10.
Alumnae Ambassadors
We are particularly keen to hear from former students who live in different regions of the world as we would like volunteers to be our Alumnae Ambassadors in their countries to organise and host alumni events. If you are interested in finding out more please contact Mrs Jennifer Walker via email, JWalker@thorntoncollege.com.
Visiting Thornton College
If you ever want to call in to school to see us you will be very welcome. Please do telephone in advance however, as due to strict child protection rules, all adults on site must have an enhanced DBS check or be with a member of school staff. We do hold special events for former students however and, if you call in advance, we would be very happy to show you around.
The Old Thorntonians Association Committee
